MAS European and Asian Business Management
Our 18-months Master of Advanced Studies program in European and Asian Business Management (EABM), offer top-notch post-graduate education and will prepare young professionals and future managers, able to take on transnational business opportunities in today’s complex and ever-changing world. This unique program will provide you with deep insights and help you gain the skills necessary in cross-border business management in the European and Asian contexts. We believe that intercultural competence is a skill which cannot be learned solely from books – it must be experienced. Our program consists of intensive study focusing on advanced managerial theories in diverse functional areas and their applications in real-life business case environments from an intercultural perspective. By completing a paid internship in an international company (6-8 months), our students have the unique chance to directly apply cross-cultural learning from the classes on the job. Our faculty consists of professors from the University of Zurich and guest lecturers from top universities and renowned companies from all over the globe, including Oxford University, University of Cambridge, Bocconi University, Sophia University Tokyo, and National University Singapore. The EABM program also offers 2 study trips, one each in Europe and the Asian region.

Corporate Project (5 ECTS)
Participants complete a practical project (in the form of a paid internship, real life consulting project, case study research, etc.) for a period of 6-8 months.
For European students it is recommended doing the corporate project in Asia; for Asian students in Switzerland.
Master Thesis (10 ECTS)
The MAS thesis is completed in a team format with 2 to 3 students per group. The research is supervised by a program lecturer.
The written part of the thesis will be graded and will count for 9 ECTS.
The thesis has to be presented in an oral defense session which will count for 1 ECTS with a pass/fail grade.
Additional courses
In addition to these modules, elective courses are provided.
Language courses will be offered to MAS students during the first semester. Attending a German language course is a requirement for Asian students; Asian language courses for European students.
